Robens Zigzag Slumber Foam Sleeping Mat, Wide

When a power cut or an overnight stop leaves you sleeping away from your usual bed, a foam mat gives you a dedicated layer between you and the ground. The Robens Zigzag Slumber Foam Sleeping Mat, Wide is a lightweight, extra-wide option for camping, bushcraft and keeping a practical sleep setup ready for off-grid use. Its non-absorbent closed-cell EVA foam is shaped in a half-dome zigzag pattern and folds into itself for compact storage. Pack straps are included to secure the folded mat for transport. At 420g, it is a useful option when you want a simple sleeping layer without a more complex inflatable setup.

Where it fits in your kit

• Home emergency box: Keep a sleep layer available for a power cut or disruption at home.
• Camping kit: Use it as a mat for nights outdoors.
• Bushcraft setup: Add it to your camp sleeping arrangement.
• Off-grid sleep kit: Pack it when you need a simple foam mat for an overnight stay.

Prep tips

• Practise folding and securing the mat with its pack straps before packing it away.
