Description / Petromax Cast Iron Potato Cooker, 1.8 L
When you’re cooking at camp or without a conventional hob, this Petromax cast-iron potato cooker lets you prepare potatoes and vegetables over an open fire or on a grill. Its 1.8 L capacity holds about three fist size potatoes, and cast iron distributes heat for cooking with a characteristic roasting flavour.
The tilting bolt locks the two halves together when the cooker is lifted with a Lid Lifter, making it easier to move away from the fire. The lid has an edge for placing embers or briquettes to adjust top heat. An all-round bar on the underside provides a firm base, and the cooker can also be used in a home oven.
