LifeStraw SIP Stainless Steel Water Filter Straw with Carry Case - Thistle Purple

When tap water is unavailable or you are travelling somewhere the water quality is uncertain, this reusable stainless steel filter straw gives you a way to filter water as you drink. The LifeStraw SIP has a membrane microfilter that removes microplastics, bacteria, parasites, silt, sand and cloudiness, without batteries or charging.

The filter has a lifespan of up to 1,000 litres and a pore size of 0.2 micron. Its slim, compact body is easy to pack, and the included leak proof carry case protects the straw between uses. The product is made from BPA free, FDA approved materials and meets recognised standards for microbial removal.

Where it fits in your kit

• Home emergency box: A reusable filtration option to keep with other water supplies.
• Grab bag: Packs into a travel kit for short-notice trips away from home.
• Travel kit: Useful when drinking water quality may vary in hotels, cafes or while exploring.

Prep tips

• Read and follow the manufacturer's instructions before first use.
• Keep the straw and carry case together so the filter is protected and easy to find.
