LifeStraw Peak Series 650ml Squeeze Filter Bottle - Mountain Blue

When a water outage or a trip off-grid leaves you relying on an untreated source, this squeeze bottle provides a compact way to filter water. The LifeStraw Peak Series 650ml Squeeze Filter Bottle has a built-in microfilter and needs no iodine, chlorine or batteries, making it a useful backup for a home emergency box, travel kit or camp setup. Fill the bottle and squeeze to drink. The filter removes bacteria, parasites and microplastics, and its design improves clog resistance and flow rate. Made from BPA-free, durable TPU, it weighs 102g (3.6oz) and packs flat when empty to save space.

Where it fits in your kit

• Home emergency box: A compact water-filtering option to keep with other outage supplies.
• Grab bag: Packs flat when empty and adds a way to filter water while travelling.
• Car kit: A lightweight backup for unexpected delays, stored with your other water supplies.
• Camp and off-grid trips: Fill from untreated sources such as lakes and streams, then squeeze to drink.

Prep tips

• Keep a separate supply of stored drinking water where space allows; a filter is a useful backup, not a reason to leave water planning until an outage.
• Practise filling and squeezing the bottle before relying on it away from home.
• Consider carrying a second water-treatment method so you have a backup option.
