Description / Kombat Bivi Shelter Pole, Extending
When you need to build a temporary shelter, a support pole can help hold a tarp or basha in place. The Kombat Bivi Shelter Pole is a durable, two-section aluminium pole for shelter building or as a replacement basha pole.
Extend it from 48 to 100 cm to suit your shelter arrangement. At less than 300 grams, it is lightweight to store with your shelter equipment and take along on a camping or bushcraft trip.
Where it fits in your kit
- Home emergency box: Keep it with shelter supplies for temporary cover during a disruption.
- Tarp or basha shelter: Use it as a support when building temporary shelter.
- Camp and bushcraft kit: Take it along for setting up a simple outdoor shelter.
- Shelter equipment spares: Keep it as a replacement pole for a basha.
Prep tips
- Store it with the tarp or basha it will be used alongside so the shelter components are easy to find.
- Practise setting up your shelter at home before relying on it outdoors.
