Description / Jack Pyke Ashcombe Zipped Wellington Boots with 3mm Neoprene Lining
When a storm leaves the ground wet and muddy, suitable footwear makes outdoor jobs more manageable. The Jack Pyke Ashcombe is a zipped Wellington boot with a 3mm neoprene lining, offering warmth and comfort for time spent outside in chilly conditions.
A high-grip rubber sole is designed to provide stability on muddy ground. The full-length waterproof gusset and YKK side zip help protect against the elements, while a rear removal lug makes the boots easier to take off after use.
Where it fits in your kit
- Home emergency box: Keep suitable footwear ready for wet-weather jobs around the property.
- Storm clean-up: Useful for working on muddy ground after bad weather.
- Outdoor work: A warm option for chores and tasks in chilly conditions.
- Camp: Handy footwear for muddy ground around a campsite.
Prep tips
- Store the boots somewhere easy to reach before periods of wet or unsettled weather.
- After use, clean off mud and allow the boots to dry before storing them.
- Check the zip, gusset and soles periodically, and make sure the fit works with the socks you plan to wear.
- Do not assume Wellington boots make deep or fast-moving floodwater safe to enter.
