Description / Highlander Olive 6x8ft Groundsheet Tarp
When you are setting up a tent at camp, a groundsheet gives you an extra layer between the tent and the ground. The Highlander Groundsheet Tarp is an olive polyethylene groundsheet that is easy to clean and provides extra protection for your tent.
Lay it beneath your tent before pitching, keeping the groundsheet positioned under the tent rather than protruding around the edges. After use, clean it and let it dry before putting it away.
Where it fits in your kit
- Camping kit: place it under your tent for extra ground protection.
- Home emergency box: keep it with shelter supplies for an unexpected overnight stay.
- Grab bag: pack it as a groundsheet option for a short-notice camp or evacuation.
- Camp and bushcraft: use it as a cleanable layer beneath a tent.
Prep tips
- Store it clean and dry to help keep the rest of your shelter kit in good condition.
- Check it for damage when you review your camping or emergency supplies.
- Practise laying it out with your tent before you need to set up in poor conditions.
