Description / Gorilla Cord 100m US 550 Paracord Reel (Random Colour)
When a storm damages a tarp tie-out or you need to secure kit at camp, having cord ready can make a simple repair easier. This genuine US 550 paracord from Gorilla Cord comes on a full 100 metre reel, giving you a useful supply for shelter set-ups and general utility tasks.
It has a smooth outer sheath and a seven strand inner core, and is rated to five hundred and fifty pounds. The reel colour varies, so the colour supplied may differ between orders. Cut only the length you need and keep the rest neatly wound to make it easier to manage.
Where it fits in your kit
- Home emergency box: keep cord available for temporary household fixes after a storm.
- Camp and bushcraft: use it for setting up tarps and organising camp equipment.
- Shelter building: useful for tying and adjusting shelter components.
- Workshop or shed: keep a reel handy for general utility jobs and projects.
Prep tips
- Store the reel somewhere dry and accessible, and check it periodically for damage or tangles.
- Practise a few useful knots before you need to set up shelter in poor weather.
