DD Hammocks Jura 2 Olive Green XL Hammock-Friendly Sleeping Bag

When an overnight disruption means sleeping outdoors, getting into a standard bag inside a hammock can be awkward. The DD Hammocks Jura 2 Olive Green XL is designed to make that easier, with a large centre zip and a waterproof footbox so you can step into it on wet ground before settling into your hammock. It is comfortable for use in temperatures down to -5C.

The ripstop nylon shell has a water-repellent coating and is filled with microfibre. Neck and zip baffles, an adjustable hood and two angled internal mesh pockets add useful details for a night at camp.

Where it fits in your kit

• Hammock camp: made for getting in and settling down while using a hammock.
• Off-grid shelter: sleeping kit for an overnight stay away from mains-powered comforts.
• Home emergency box: an option to consider for planned overnight shelter needs.
• Camp setup: the footbox is designed for stepping into the bag on wet ground.

Prep tips

• Practise getting in and adjusting the hood and baffles before relying on the bag overnight.
• Pack it with your sleeping mat or hammock and shelter so your sleep system is together.
