Description / Bla Band Creamy Stew with Mushrooms Freeze-Dried Meal 150g
When a disruption leaves you without a ready meal, this 150g freeze-dried stew offers a compact option for the home emergency box, grab bag or camp. It combines rice and mushrooms in a creamy sauce, and is vegetarian, lactose free and gluten free.
Add 350 ml of boiling water to the level marked inside the pouch, stir, reseal and leave for about 10 minutes. Cold water can also be used when boiling water is not available; allow around 30 minutes for rehydration. Eat from the pouch or transfer to a plate.
Where it fits in your kit
- Home emergency food box: a stored meal for power cuts or water outages.
- Grab bag or 72-hour kit: a lightweight meal for a short-notice evacuation.
- Car kit: a compact food option for a breakdown or delayed journey.
- Camp and off-grid trips: a filling meal when you need to keep carried weight down.
Prep tips
- Check the date when adding it to your stores and rotate meals before they pass it.
