BeWild Pocket Bellows - Telescopic Firelighting Tool

When damp tinder or a fading fire needs a little help, directing air onto the right spot can make fire tending more manageable. The BeWild Pocket Bellows is a compact, telescopic stainless steel tool for directing airflow where it is needed. It collapses for storage and has a washable silicone mouthpiece that helps keep your mouth away from the metal.

Extend the bellows to direct airflow towards the tinder or embers, then collapse it again after use. Its compact size makes it practical to store with your firelighting gear, and the mouthpiece can be washed.

Where it fits in your kit

• Home emergency box: keep it with your firelighting supplies for planned outdoor use.
• Grab bag: its collapsible design makes it easy to pack with other compact kit.
• Camp kit: direct airflow when starting or tending a campfire.
• Bushcraft fire kit: pair it with tinder and a separate fire-lighting method.

Prep tips

• Practise directing airflow onto tinder or embers before relying on the tool.
• Pack a separate way to make a flame, such as a lighter or fire steel.
• Wash the silicone mouthpiece and let the bellows dry before storing it with your kit.
